Student Film Festival en ligne : films d’étudiants sur la
pandémie

La seconde édition
du Festival de films d’étudiants Red Bird de la Hong Kong
University of Science and Technology (Division of
Humanities) a lieu en ligne du 1er octobre au 1er
novembre 2020.
Le festival a sélectionné quinze films sur l’épidémie
mondiale de covid19, réalisés par des étudiants de
l’Université qui étaient dans diverses parties du monde
quand le virus a frappé : Wuhan, Kunming, Shijiazhuang,
Canton, Hong Kong, Seoul et Londres. Chacun a réalisé par
ses propres moyens un documentaire sur l’impact de
l’épidémie, sans fonds de financement, sans équipement
professionnel et sans équipes. Ils ont commencé leurs
tournages début février et ont continué jusqu’en juin ou
septembre selon les cas.

Les quinze films ainsi réalisés sont des
documentaires dans les genres les plus
différents incluant docu-fiction et animation. Ils
sont de longueur variable, allant de 6-8 minutes
pour l’animation à un documentaire de 50 minutes
réalisé à Wuhan, pendant la période de quarantaine
de la ville.

novembre.
